Well, I am afraid I am about to become the owner of a 1980 DHC PI TR8. I
got the report from my mechanic today, ALL IS WELL! Compression good on all
cylinders, leak down good, slightly elevated on 2, but not enough to be a
problem, valve lifters providing good action. No rust to be seen, but needs
paint. Needs a new top. I have a few pics up at
