Hello Listers,

I am preparing to send off the TR3 for major body work and painting. While
it's away I need to start working on the interior. One of my major tasks
will be re-covering the dash. It seems a whole lot easier to get the dash in
and out if I remove the steering wheel. Now my question: is it possible to
disconnect the wiring at the control head end of things instead of having to
remove the stator tube and all the rest? I took a quick look at it and it
didn't seem like it would be easy to get at the wiring inside the control
head. Anyone done this? Any reason not to? Any tips to make the dash removal
and replacement easy with the steering wheel still mounted?

Thanks for any advice.
