Well, I really don't think that you have a problem there.
I did the same upgrade on both my Herald and on my Vitesse.

The plastic fan blades and the motor and rheostat that I used for the Herald 
came from a Spitfire, and that for the Vitesse came from a GT6.

As far as I could see, they were identical.

The three position switch is a common Lucas switch, from an autojumble.
I think it's a heater blower switch from a Spitfire?
