Hi list.
This is a two-part post:
1) Is there a list like this one for MG's? Would it be something painfully
obvious like "MG@autox.team.net?
2) I have a friend who is selling a '79 MGB, one of the Rubber Bumper
specials. It is in fair shape, drives reasonably well, needs cosmetics and
paint (has new red paint but a lousy job). Problems include: some rust
bubbles in rocker on passenger side, cracked trunk support inside (not
visible from outside), severely cracked dash pad, a bit of clutch chatter,
torn stitching on top (window), needs brake master cyl rebuild. Overall, it
is dirty and a bit unloved but not far from being a solid driver.
He is asking $1600. I am not an MG fanatic but that seems fair.
