My Haynes Midget books says:
1500cc Midgets
Gear Ratios:
Top: 1:1
Third: 1.433:1
Second: 2.119:1
First: 3.4118:1
Reverse: 3.7529:1
Hope this helps, need any more info from the book, let me know.
However, looking at the picture, I don't think a Midget Tranny swap would be
very easy. Looks a LOT different (shifter in tailpiece, etc....) I can
email you a scan of the exploded view if you want.

Midget 1500 Transmission.
I am looking for an inexpensive source for a transmission that has a
closer ratio gear set than those of the Spitfire transmissions. This is
