I have had a halogen H-4 headlight conversion in my TR6 for over 20 years.
There is no comparison to the oem sealed beams, the H-4 conversion rules. As
long as they are properly aimed, they will not blind oncoming drivers.

In the 25+ years that I have had my TR6, I have had only 1 dash bulb burn
out (but don't ask me what happened when the bulb burned out in the left
rear side marker light :-( ). IMHO, the original lamps are bright enough,
and you won't have to worry about the extra heat from the halogens.
