Thanks to all who replied off list.
My engine already has the 3/8" push rods.
No extra noise when it went, just thought it wasn't firing.
I do have compression in that cylinder. ( whew! )
I got new push rod and valve cover gasket ordered.
Will install, adjust, and see what happens.
BTW all remaining pushrods look fine.
