Dear All,
The 17th Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run takes place over the
weekend of the 6th- 8th October.
Starting from just North of London 64 Triumph cars will attempt to drive
2000 miles in only 48 hours.
They depart at 7pm on Friday evening UK time (that's 18:00 GMT, 2pm eastern
US time) and head north driving through the night, arriving at John O'Groats
in the far north of Scotland for breakfast on Saturday morning. After
spending Saturday driving through the scenic Highlands they again face an
overnight drive down through Wales to Land's End Cornwall in time for
breakfast on Sunday. The run then returns to London for 7pm on Sunday.
For the benefit of those of you who can't be there we'll be providing a news
udpate service on the website so readers can follow the event 'as it
happens' The address is http://club.triumph.org.uk/rbrr/.
Also checkout the egroups Herald list,
http://www.egroups.com/messages/triumph_herald for some updates and possibly
pictures from Rob Newton-Allen

The run is raising money for the Foundation for Children with Leukaemia.
Leukaemia is the biggest cause of childhood deaths in the UK and the
Foundation as raising money to develop new treatments for the disease. There
are a few drivers taking part who are subscribers to this list and if anyone
would like to support them by providing sponsorship for this cause this
would be most welcome, and there is a secure form on the website for this
purpose.

Thanks,

Keith Bennett
