If you are running a stock type class in SCCA Solo II, you technically don't
need a rollbar.  If you do add one, most of the street bars available will meet
the rules and your top requirements.  It's odd that if your rollbar doesn't meet
the rules, you can take it out and then your car will be legal.

If you're other than a stock class in Solo II, you probably need a real bar
going to the frame.  Some rules also require that the top of the bar be two
inches higher than the top of your helmet.  If that's the case, it's not likely
that your stock tops will work.  Check with the groups that you will run with
and find their requirements before you do anything to make your car illegal.
