Mark,

I just rebuilt my early TR4 seats.

The seats springs you show in the pictures are just like mine.
They were used in TR3Bs and TR4s up to about CT20000.

These are rare and hard to find in rebuildable condition. My car
came with TR4A seats and I searched for some time to find the
originals. I paid $300 for a complete set that were almost
useable but the seat pans were rusty and cracked around the
mounting holes.

The seat pans are the real valuable rare bits. I had mine bead
blasted and welded... then painted them with POR-15... just like
new. New springs and covers are available from TRF and John
Skinner in the UK.

Listers -

        With a 4A I purchased, seat rails, seat springs, & a seat
bucket
were received. The rails & bucket are rusty; probably useable by
someone.
The seat springs appear to be in good shape considering their
age. Would
someone check out this picture and tell me which car they're for?

I see where Moss gets over $100 ea for new ones so I figuer maybe
I could
trade them for something I need, or eBay 'em as I will be putting
seats
appropriate to a 4A in.
