Funny, my factory manual just says to 'top up' with 'current' engine
oil, which per the same manual, can be anything from SAE 5 weight to SAE
40, depending on the prevailing climate.  If they spent all that time
and money, you'd think they'd have communicated it a bit clearer ...

weaker tuning ... This is a situation which cannot be met by a hard and
fast factory recommendation owing to the wide variations in the
condition existing and in such cases the owner will need to experiment
