Many of you were aware of the challenge my wife and I faced with the
birth and then his death 18 days later of our son, Conner William
Chadwell late last year. (born November 20, 2000, passed away
December 8, 2000) Aprille and I were very grateful for the
outpouring of support from many subscribers to this list. In fact,
Aprille compiled all the incredibly kind and compassionate e-mail
notes we received via this list as well as other e-mail from friends,
relatives, etc. into a single document that she then printed out and
included in a keepsake scrapbook.
If I did not express my thanks at the time, allow me to do so now.
We were so encouraged by all the support we received from people we
didn't even know. It was amazing and very heartening and our
heartfelt thanks goes out to all who were so thoughtful in supporting
us either via e-mail, intercessory prayer, or both. We are very,
very grateful.

Aprille and I will be trying again to start a family beginning next
month. There is no reason to expect a repeat of Conner's Trisomy 13
condition in a future pregnancy, nor is there any reason to expect
any other type of chromosomal anomaly. However, needless to say we
are a bit nervous given the outcome of the first try, but at the same
time we are very confident.
