TR6 Trans in a TR3

Hi all,

Soon, I will be installing a '71 or '72 TR6 transmission (CD33XXX) into
my '61 TR-3A.  I am planning on using the original TR3 "finger" clutch
and throwout bearing.  Can I use the existing shorter nose piece on the
TR6 transmission, or do I need to use the longer (by about 3/8") nose
piece from the original TR3 transmission?
