NFI on this one but passing it on to people who may be interested.
Chris Witor in the UK - something of an engine guru with the 2000 and
2500 engines in saloons sells an extensive range of parts that are
made to a very high standard.
He has just released two new lines.
Item 1 - Oil pressure relief valve piston that replaces part # 132107.
This component is hardness tested to 40 Rockwell B and is claimed to
be far superior to many reproductions being sold here in mild steel
that only meet 16 Rockwell B. Alleges the softer material is prone to
accelerated wear and even sticking under certain conditions. Cost GBP
4.00 plus postage
Item 2 - Throttle shaft for SU HS6 carbs. The original plastic shafts
are now breaking with age having become brittle. The replacement for
part # UKC 5352 has steel ball socket ends. Cost 10.08 plus postage.
