Used it on Midget, Europa, 626, RX7, and many other cars, both with the caps
supplied by Gunson and with modified stock caps.  No serious problems.  

How much pressure are you using?  You only need 5-10 psi.  Be sure to 
pressure-test
the system before you put fluid into the bottle.
