For a TR6 engine I use four 3-1/2" long 5/16" bolts, grade 5. The holes 
where the bell housing attaches to the rear engine plate are the best place 
to hook up. I always try to space the four arms equally but I never quite 
succeed- just do the best you can. Depending on the size of the holes in 
your engine stand you may need use some oversize washers on the bolt heads.
