I've been off the big Triumph list for awhile but have exchanged
messages on the vintage race list and the FOT list about two
race-oriented projects that deserve wider exposure.

Aluminum hub project -- Southwick Machine and Design is making a second
run of aluminum front hubs. They fit TR2-3-4-4A-250-6. They are not
particularly lighter than stock, but they are virtually unbreakable.
They come with new Timken bearings, new modern inner lip seal, and studs
of your choice of length and diameter. Price something a little in
excess of $350 -- not exact yet because it will depend on run quantity.

Lightweight steel flywheel for same cars -- same seven lb. weight as the
aluminum ones on the market. Price $355. Very limited run. A good choice
if you want a light flywheel but for whatever reason do not want an
aluminum one.

Next project is a steel scattershield with target price under $150. I'm
collecting names of interested folks.

Contact me for pictures.
