Yer gonna try ta git a heavy TR4 ta go as fast as my TR3 are ye laddie?

Yer no gonna git the cam to work without adding compression and the whole
things gonna came appart at the base of the crank flywheel flange ifn ya
don't strengthen the bottom end up.

When th needle flys up to kiss the 6000 RPM mark and yer engine's still
healthy you know yer on th right track.

I think TWM still sells the right manifolds & linkage and British Frame &
engine has got the cam and a lot of the fixings needed to help keep an
engine together. But if ya don't nitride th crank, yer not gonna be
palyin long.

An be sure yer a puttin 34mm chokes in the carbs ifn yer gonna play with
the little DCOEs.
