I must be getting stupid in my old age. I should have known that. I
knew about the retro styling mustang released to commemerate, and I knew
about McQueen, but my A.D.D. kicks in and I can barely remember my name.
I like that site. It's pretty cool. I'm having another A.D.D
(Attention Deficit Disorder) flash and need help with another name. There
are two different sets of Cannonball movies. One has Burt Reynolds and Dom
Deluise driving an Ambulance, and the other has John Candy in a BMW and
skipping a Countach accross a lake. I can't remember the names of either.
I know it'll come to me ten seconds after I send this.
Also, I never saw the entire movie called Driver. Was there a good car
chase in that one?

My vote is on Ronin, but I'm biased by my love of Quattro. Even a Rice
boy like myself wasn't impressed by The Fast and Furious.

The movie is indeed "Bullitt" with Steve McQueen in the title role.

The chase you refer to is considered by most movie buffs to be the best in
movie history (I could make an argument for the original "Gone In 60
Seconds").

One of the magazines recently did an article on the "Bullitt" Mustangs used
in the movie. One is still alive and stored in a barn where people are
literally chased off with at gunpoint when inquiring about the car...reminds
you of the also recent story of the original Cobra Coupe...

Here is a link to a Top 10 Car Chases site:

How about all the really nice iron destroyed in the Bond movies...

Cheers,

Brad
