...go for it. We had a similar situation here, Garage fire, total writ0off
as far as insurance was concerned. Looked hopeless.
The car in question was a long door TR2 with a low serial /commission #. The
owner decided it was worth a try and set to it. The car still exists today,
not pristine but still pridefully owned.
There can be life after fire!!!
