Hello all,

I don't know if this has been documented anywhere already, so I apologise if
this is available somewhere I haven't found...

The shock absorbers on my '69 TR6 are (understandably) worn out - I don't
know exactly how old they are, but they certainly don't look anything like
new... So I am seeking some advice on what to replace them with (both front
and rear). The rear end has a tube shock conversion, and as far as I know
the springs are stock. So, does anyone have any advice on:

1. What shock absorbers will fit a TR6 (front and rear) - a make and model
number would be very helpful. Or even just the specs of shock absorbers that
are suitable. I would like to be able to get them locally (ie reasonably
quickly) so this would mean not going through one of the "big three".

2. What would be the best choice - I guess I'd like to go with something
with adjustable dampening, but what are people using, and how well does it
work?

Many thanks in advance,

Frank Biedermann
