Before this thread is done completely to death - a suggestion. The
radio tape player in my 2.5PI isn't a factory unit and I'm thinking of
swapping it out for a Smiths Radiomobile 1070 or 1080 five pushbutton
medium and longwave radio. Once installed, I'd be happy to photograph
it and send the image to anyone who is interested in uploading it to a
website. While the tuning scale won't be the same as the North
American and Rest of World units, the chassis, face plate and knobs
will be little different. At least this will give those who are
interested, a visual idea of what was fitted in the late 60's / early
70's to cars delivered ex factory.
What is the general view? Replies off list please
