There are plenty of TR3 vintage racers around - not sure how many TR3's are
active in SCCA E-Prod (although there are several TR6's in that class).

But the very first thing I'd recommend is that you get yourself a
subscription to Grassroots Motorsports (http://www.grmotorsports.com/).
Publisher Tim Suddard has written several articles about the TR3 he's been
preparing for vintage racing over the past year or two. The back issues with
the articles on TR3 prep.should be available.
