Are you sure? Could it be a '76 that got punched in the nose along the way
and repaired with '74 parts? (Which is what the condition of the engine
compartment suggests to me.)

Is there a profit to be made in changing VIN numbers to pass off '74 TR's as
1976 models?

What I find amusing is the bidders like "PotRoastSteve" and "WebMan..."
entering bid after bid with six days left in the auction, when the only bid
that matters is the one that someone will make with about 15 seconds to go.
