Leave the plugs out.  Less strain on the starter so you can crank longer
and rest less, the engine will spin faster speeding up the whole process,
and less strain on the crank bearings until the oil pressure builds up. 
You should see the oil pressure build up to 70 PSI.  If it doesn't you need
to prime the pump.
