That stud secures the strap from the center of the Tonneau --- keeps it from
flapping when driving with the RH seat covered.

| Now that I have the seat diaphragm replaced on the driver's side , and the
| feeling has come back in my wrist, I am replacing the passenger side
| diaphragm. On the the seat-bottom frame, toward the center of the car, is
a
| small fitting. Looks like a grease fitting without a hole in it. Anybody
| know what it's for?
