Pumped-up lifters are a somewhat different phenomenon, brought on by valve
float.  Since the TR2-6 have solid lifters, they are not prone to this
particular problem.

Some aftermarket hydraulic lifters are actually designed to bleed down at
low rpm, thereby improving idle and low-end torque with a wild cam.
