As a buyer on eBay, I agree with you Greg. When a "new" item gets to within
60 - 70% of the price new, I go with a trusted retailer. As a seller, I am
baffled sometimes. I sold some new and used MGB parts that climbed past new,
and I wondered what was up. Of course, there were also some clinkers that I
thought would bring more, but I was glad to get rid of them for a small
return on my investment. It all depends on who is out there at the moment
and how much they need what you have that week.

I have tried to buy TR6 carpet several times on eBay and it always goes
beyond what I am willing to. I bid up to around $110 and let it go after
that...and I still need some carpet, so you know the end result.
