If all else fails, it is possible reach up underneath the radiator and
unbolt the two bonnet hinges. You have to unbolt the hinges from the car,
leaving them attached to the bonnet. If you try to unbolt the bonnet from
the hinges you will get all 6 out and then realize that there are two more
(on the sides) which are inaccessible <sigh>. It helps to have skinny arms
and a lot of patience.
