I owned an old classic Mustang convertible as well as several TR6s over
the years. Interestingly enough, the Ford Mustang was more of a pain in
the a** than the TR6s ever were. Including electrical problems. That's
not to say that TR6s don't have their wierd quirks and special needs also.
But ANY old car is going to need attention and have its share of quirks.

Ok, here a comment for you guys that I got today while finishing the sale
of the 1948 Jeepster. I was asked by the Notary what I would be getting
next. I said probably a Triumph but wasn't sure which model. At that he
said:
"Better find a good mechanic since these cars are high maintenance"
Ok, is this truth or another one of those old storys floating around? I
know these had some poor quality issues when they were made and probably
hasn't changed much. I'm not much of a mechanic but can do some stuff.
