Have a wonderful trip and enjoy yourself completely. When in NC it might pay
to go armed, as we have had some problems over the years. If you have
companions you probably don't need to worry and it is not my intent to alarm
you. However, you can't be too careful. When I say problems I'm not speaking
of wildlife in the conventional sense.
Have walked brief chunks of it over the years but never made the whole trip
and too old to do it now. Wish I was going along!
