$70 for a new set of tappets is spotty considering how many of them aren't
hardened to their proper levels (Rockwell Hardness of 53, I believe?).
Might as well find someone who will reprofile and polish your old tappets
and check their hardness.  Steve at Integral Cams does this at a VERY
reasonable price of $3 per tappet.
