   I'm not aware of a TR8 that jas been produced in that scale. He may
   want to try St. Martins in Great Britain... They usually carry a lot
   of rare stuff in that scale. If he can't find one perusing the `net
   I doubt there he'll have any luck, though.

   If he wanted to go upscale Scalextric (the slot car company)
   produced a TR 7 coupe that could be modified. Also I believe there
   was a 1/20th scale TR7 coupe plastic model that was produced by Imai
   (I think) also back then. The larger scale TR7 is more rare than the
   the Scalextric slot car, examples of which which show up on Ebay
   frequently.
