I saw this episode last night as I was surfing. The before car was a TR4
with wire wheels and the wreck had disc wheels. It was a total as the front
was smashed and the doors were punched in. At a guess I would say that the
after car was a roll over that they got from a junk yard.
Do not forget that these episodes were made in the mid 60's and you could buy
a new car to replace the old if needed. Would you get upset if you saw a
2000 Miata crashed on TV today?
