I call it my averageometer. The reading on my speedometer floats over a 5 to
10 MPH range. I pick a speed somewhere in between. I've tried switching to
a spare, but same results. He is what I have. 61 TR4 with O/D. I'm using a
backup cable now, the prior cable which was new, lasted only a short while
before it broke. Could it be the O/D? I've heard about right angle adapters
to connect the cable to the gearbox, but have not seen one. The cable does
make a very sharp turn, just before connection to the gearbox. Suggestions??
