Folks,

I'm finally ready to install the head on my freshly rebuilt motor but
I'm in need of some quality lifters. Last year my engine failed do to
a lifter failure which sent lifter and cam metal fragments throughout
my motor. I'm learning that good quality lifters just aren't available.
TSI Imports talks about taking a Ford lifter and turning it down to
fit the TR6 motor, or using a run of the mill lifter and having it coated
with some sort of anti-wear coating (teflon?). Has anyone tried
anything like this, or does anyone have another solution to the lifter
dilemma?

TIA,
David Brady
