I managed to remove the bolt with an air impact gun. I went to a local bolt
and fastener shop and picked up a 1.5 inch by 5/8 18 thread bolt and 3 large
thick washers to take up the space that the extension held and one smaller 5/8
washer to hold them in place. I put them in place and torque them down. You
could get a machine shop to make a spacer but washers worked just fine.
The fan was mounted on the inner side of the radiator I have yet to try it out
since my carbs need some serious adjusting.
