I sent the following to the Herald and Vitesse Yahoo goroups earlier. With
hindsight I realise there may be interested parties here who aren't subscribed
to those groups.

> Hopefully you will forgive this blatantly commercial intrusion.
> Some of you will already be aware that I produce a small (but growing) range
>of accurate commission plates for 'our' cars. I've had a request to produce a
>replica of the unique plate fitted to the US market Sports 6 of 1962-3. I have
>everything I need to produce this plate except (crucially) customers! Being an
>export only model, there is unlikely to be any demand for this plate in the
>UK, however it could still be a viable project if there was some demand from
>the US.
> Being an etched plate, a small batch could be produced for a unit cost of
>around 25 pounds per plate - given enough demand I could bring the price down
>to 10 pounds in line with other etched plates in my range, but I really doubt
>that there are enough Sports 6 owners to achieve that target.
> If you have any interest in this product, please get in touch so that I
>can estimate demand,
> Cheers,
