Only if you've connected the hoses up backwards. There are two hose
connections on each side of the heater assembly; one for the eyeball vent
and one for the defroster vent. The defroster vent does receive warm air
but the eyeball vent does not. The defroster outlet is downstream of the
heater matrix and the eyeball vent is upstream.
