terminal mix-up

Hi,
I'm cleaning my console panel on my 60 TR3A.  I forgot how the two terminals
on the back of the key-switch were arranged.  One screw has white wires and
the other screw has the heavy brown and blue striped wire.  Does it really
matter which wire goes with which terminal?
