Thanks for the concern, We just got our power back on yesterday morning,
Was off since Sun evening when we started packing things up cause the fires
were burning the hills all around us - the smoke has been so thick around
here the past few days that it was like thick fog. The sun was just a dark
red glow. While the wife an I loaded up the truck to take things to a
safer place we used the respirators I normally use for painting - course
that didnt help with the eyes - but better than breathing the smoke and ash
- today it finally cleared out in our area but its still burning up in the
mountains -
Its a really scary scenario - worst I've seen in over thirty years here!
Ash and stuff all over everything, but that is certainly better that what
has happened to many others around here I saw that the freeway I take to
work is scorched on both sides when I could finally use it to get here
really eerie sight couldnt even go to work on Monday and Tues the smoke
was still so thick the place closed at noon -
