Which is all terribly unfair, because it doesn't seem to work the other way
round. I recently bought a digital camera from the US on mail order and got
clobbered with paying the Sales Tax which is VAT called something else.. No
way could I get that knocked off the price. OK, the camera was still much
cheaper than in the UK - even after paying UK duty - but it's the principle.
Just not cricket, old boy :)
