Much ado about nothing, me thinks.  As long as we allow other listers to
post announcements of their Ebay listings, the odd post from Ted or Justin
certainly doesn't clog the bandwidth, fill up the inboxes or drive away
list members to any greater extent.  It's not like he does it once a week,
or even once a month.  They are most infrequent.  In fact it is nice to
know he is still out there.  

BTW, I recommend the book.
