Jim,
    All I can suggest is that if the car is jacked up with the front
suspension unweighted, and at the extreme of its' travel, it will bind.  Once
you put the car back down, you will find that everything feels normal again.

>Could somebody please give me a sense of feel for how stiff the steering
assembly should be ?  My front suspension is completely rebuilt, but i'm
finding it very hard to turn using the steering column lower arm only
(steering wheel disconnected).  Is this typical ? or should the mechanism be
fairly easy to turn.  Any thoughts ??  Any way that I can measure the force
required ?  Typical problem areas ??
