You will need to remove the Tach and Speedo entirely since the clamps that
hold them in place clamp the wood facia to the backing steel.  Also, you
may have to remove the oil pressure gauge linesince there will be precious
little slack in it (which can be said about all the 30 year old wires
connected to everything else).  This can be accomplished much more easily
if you remove the ash tray and attack it from above.

The glove box hinges do not have to be removed but removing the glove box
itself will make everything else much easier.

Be sure to disconnect the battery before you start.
