The Alpine 500 is a vintage car rally, pre- 1975 (sorry Ian) which
winds 500 miles through some of Northern California's most
inviting back roads. The two day event Beginning Saturday morning
and ending Sunday afternoon is broken into stages, with designed
stops for food, gas, lodging. The registration fee of $250.00
includes accommodations for you and your co-driver Saturday night
in Lake Tahoe at the famous Cal Neva Resort, as well as rally
T-shirts, decals, and a banquet dinner Sunday evening in
Sacramento.

As a personal note: AnnaBelle, Casper and I ran this event last
year and we had a great time. All paved roads and no really
car breaking stages, I highly recommend you giving it a try.
