Hello list : Iam preparing to remove my 1960 tr3 engine from the car,which
means temperature sending unit must be removed from the thermastat housing?I
have the pipe thread nut removed from the housing which exposes the brass
sending unit with wire (or tube attached). The sending unit spins aprox. 1/4
turn by hand,but will not come out of housing? Is there any suggestion to
separate these two pieces ,hopefully to be reusable?What about at the guage
end? How is this end separated from the sending unit wire (or tube) Thanks
