Fred, that sounds like a perfect application for a filter.  It won't save
downloading the messages, but it will keep you from having to look at them.

BTW, others have commented about complaining to the spammer's ISP ... many
ISPs these days cater specifically to spammers, and they actually like
getting complaints (since it means people are reading the spam they are paid
to send out).  Also, most of the spam I get has been obfuscated, so it's
extremely difficult to determine which ISP was actually used to send out the
spam.  The return address almost always points at a different mail service
(as mine does, I'm not sending this through navcomtech.com, although
hopefully this isn't spam <G>).
