To All:

I am hoping someone can help me with my problem as I really do not
want to call the electrical genius, Dan M. This maybe rather long, but I
am out of ideas and I am hoping the list can help me.

I have a 72 TR6, that may have been built using some of the 71 TR6
electrical
connections. As some of the items listed in the schematic for a 71 are on
my car, but not on the 72 which is the year model. I think it started as a
71 and when
it came to end of the line they changed the model year to 72.

Anyway I keep blowing fuses on the top of the fuse box which connects the
white on one side with Green on the other side:

Gauges<---Green-[--fuse--] White ----> OD Relay, Coil and
Ign. Switch

I have disconnected a lot of the items on the green side, but still will
blow a fuse
not when the key is on, but sometimes it will wait a minute or so. One day I
was working on the carbs and the car ran for 15-20 minutes and never blew
the fuse
then the next day would not even run for 5 minutes and the fuse fried
itself.

I have removed some of the items from the circuit, for example if the wiper
motor
is connected the fuse will start to go as soon as the key is in the on
position. With the
wiper motor out of the picture, then I remove the Brake light switch. Now
all of the items
should be out of the circuit, but yet I will still blow a fuse on the
Green/White side of the
fuse box. According to my schematic for the 72 or the 71 model, one Green
goes to the
Wiper motor(Disconnected) the other Green goes to the Brake Light
Switch(Disconnected)
is the starting point. Now if the voltage still moves on from there then
there is the voltage
stabilizer where I have removed the LG/G wire to the gauges(Temp and Fuel).
I have also
removed the Heater motor out of the picture, but the hazard lights are still
hooked up and the
seat belt neutral switch.

I might disconnect all items that go to the green side of things, then start
to put them
all back and see which one causes the fuse to go. Any other suggestions from
someone
who has been through this before????

Thanks in Advance
