Dear All,
A friend from Australia has kindly sent me a 12V Inspection Lamp
(missing its plug and bulb), which he thinks is a Lucas item sold for
use with Series III Land Rovers. It is stamped: "F.V. 157949 L.U."
which doesn't look much like a Lucas part number to me. A web-search
has thrown up one hit, in conjunction with a United States armed forces
NSN: NSN 6230 99 942 7876. Searching on this gave me the description,
"Light, Extension" and "Supplier U1278" - which I cannot seem to convert
to a name.
Can anyone identify this lamp, and, perhaps, come up with a
specification for the bulb it takes?
